Photographer of the Week

This week it is Annie Leibovitz. She is an American photographer known for her beautiful portraits. Also, she was born in Waterbury, Connecticut..right down the road! She started off her career at Rolling Stone in the 70's and remained there for ten years. While working there, she became well known for her intimate, moment capturing images of celebrities. Annie now works for Vanity Fair magazine.

She has many famous pictures, one being the Rolling Stone cover featuring John Lennon and Yoko Ono. She shot this picture the day Lennon died.
